A week of intensive, personalized instruction designed to nurture each student's unique artistic voice.
Under the umbrella of the renowned KotorArt Festival, the Academy offers a boutique, high-level program for young instrumentalists seeking artistic growth through focused study, collaboration, and performance in an extraordinary cultural setting.
The program is designed to meet each participant where they are, providing thoughtful guidance, inspiration, and challenge in a supportive and encouraging environment. Rather than emphasizing intensity for its own sake, the Academy prioritizes individual development, curiosity, and musical dialogue.
Students work closely with faculty who are not only accomplished performers but also dedicated educators passionate about nurturing the next generation.
Experience the artistry of our faculty through performance. At Adria Music Academy, you learn from active performers who bring their stage experience into every lesson.
Room and board are included in the $1,500 tuition fee, offering participants a seamless and focused experience.
We provide comfortable and carefully selected accommodations to ensure a safe, supportive, and community-oriented environment.
All housing options are chosen to allow students to live and study alongside fellow participants, remaining close to rehearsal and performance venues.

We welcome motivated young instrumentalists who are eager to grow as musicians and artists. Our program is designed for students ranging from advanced pre-college level to early professional stage.
We value curiosity, dedication, and a genuine love of music over competition wins or prestigious credentials. If you're seeking meaningful artistic development in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
We welcome applications from musicians specializing in Piano, Violin, Clarinet, and Cello. Musicians performing on other instruments may also be considered.
If your instrument is not listed, we would be glad to hear from you and discuss whether the program may be a good fit for your musical background.
Our schedule balances intensive study with time for reflection, exploration, and rest. We believe that a well-paced day leads to more meaningful artistic work.

No. The Academy is designed for motivated young instrumentalists at various stages of development. While the instruction is high-level, the focus is on individual growth rather than fitting every student into a single standard.
The program is focused but not overwhelming. Lessons, rehearsals, and performances are structured to be engaging and meaningful, with space for reflection, exploration, and enjoyment of the surrounding cultural environment.
You do not need to be fully formed as an artist to participate. The Academy values curiosity, commitment, and openness to learning as much as technical readiness. Faculty work closely with each student to meet them where they are.
Yes. As a boutique program, the Academy emphasizes personalized mentorship, ensuring that each participant receives thoughtful guidance tailored to their goals and experience.
Chamber music is a core part of the program, but ensembles are formed with care. The goal is collaboration and shared musical discovery, not pressure or competition.
A close-knit, supportive artistic community grounded in mutual respect, mentorship, and inspiration, set within the unique atmosphere of Kotor's UNESCO-protected Old Town.
Applications for Summer 2026 are now open. Join us in Kotor for an unforgettable week of music, mentorship, and discovery.
